Welcome to my summer home(s).

After a very long and stressful winter and spring, I finally have something to look forward to.

I got an internship with the Blue Sky Project at University of Dayton this summer. It is a collaborative between 5 resident artists, 5 student artists (me), and around 40 high school kids from the area. Basically, we are split into teams and make art together for 2 months. Yes please, and thank you.

This means a few things.

1.) I will not smell like a sandwich every day after work
2.) The majority of my closest friends will all be within a ten mile radius
3.) My bank account will be sitting pretty come August
4.) Matthew R. Clark got a Student Artist position too!

From June 11 - August 10, I will be spending the week days in Dayton at my temporary ArtStreet home with my boyfriend and fellow Student Artists, and will be in the process of lugging all my belongings approximately 1.5 miles to my new permanent German Village residence on the weekends.

Oh, and the best part? My Resident Artist is a dancer/choreographer. I am confident my awkwardly unproportioned body will make for a great vessel of rhythm and expression. Right? Um...

Hey fifteen-year-old me! Your hemp necklace is really cool, did you make that yourself? Man, you have not aged well. Look at those luscious locks. Wanna go to the mall? Okay!
